 onth! \nAbout Taizé\nWhat is a Taizé Contemplative Worship Experience? 
 It is named after a small village called Taizé in France which\, since 19
 40\, has been the home of an ecumenical Christian monastic community. Memb
 ers of the Taizé community belong to several different Christian denomina
 tions. Catholics\, Anglicans\, Protestants\, Orthodox and others live and 
 pray together in multiple languages\, share a simple life and welcome thou
 sands of visitors and pilgrims who come to spend time with them every year
  from all over the world.\nTaizé Contemplative Worship Experiences are co
 mprised of silence and song\, candlelight and stillness\, prayer and conte
 mplation. The music is unique and distinctive. Taizé chants featuring dec
 eptively simple refrains that are repeated\, mantra-like\, by the gathered
  congregation\, and occasionally\, instrumental and vocal soloists add ver
 ses on top of the repeated refrains.\nThe music is accessible\, participat
 ory\, and meditative.\nAll who attend are invited to sink into the experie
 nce\, to pray\, and to use the silence and meditative music as an opportun
 ity to listen to the “still\, small voice” within.\nCome as you are an
 d experience the peace.
